The Executive Board is the primary governing body of the Echols Council. It is made up of the President, Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs, Vice President of Community Engagement, Treasurer, and Secretary. These five individuals oversee all Echols Council activity and are responsible for working with the Echols Program administration to further the goals of the program.

Madison DeLoach
Madison is a fourth-year student from Richmond, Virginia, majoring in Chemistry with aspirations to attend dental school. Madison previously served as council secretary and is excited to step into this new position. Outside of the Echols Council, Madison is a member of the UVA Cheer Team, the undergraduate representative for the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers, and the Echols Mentorship and Ambassador Program. She enjoys volunteering, shopping, and hanging out with her friends in her free time!

Sara Kakatkar
Sara is a fourth-year student from Chantilly, Virginia majoring in Environmental Sciences and minoring in Data Science, on the pre-medical track. Sara previously served as Chair for the Academic and Professional Development Committee. Outside of Echols council, Sara volunteers as an EMT at Western Albemarle Rescue Squad, sings in Ektaal Acapella, serves as VP of Logistics for CavsCARE, is the Head TA for Orgo Lab, and is an undergraduate researcher in the Davis lab. She loves to read, perform, and invent recipes in her free time.

Jennifer Argueta
Jennifer Argueta is a second-year student from Barboursville, Virginia, double majoring in Youth and Social Innovation and Politics. On Grounds, she serves as the Treasurer of Latina Pathways at UVA, a University Guide, a Fuego dancer, a Students Demand Action member, and an Education Policy Associate. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, antique shopping, and listening to audiobooks in her free time. Jennifer is excited to connect with more Echols Scholars this year!

Ava Tribolet
Ava Tribolet is a second-year student from Dallas, TX. She is undecided on her major, but plans to apply to the McIntire School of Commerce this spring. She is the Echols council treasurer, the co-founder and chief marketing officer of Common Cents UVA, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, an analyst at the McIntire Investment Institute, and an analyst for Profit with Purpose UVA. She also loves to cook, exercise, and spend time with friends. Ava is looking forward to another great year at UVA!

Naren Senthilkumar
Naren is a second-year student from Richmond, Virginia, double-majoring in Economics and Philosophy with a minor in Global Sustainability. He hopes to attend law school after graduating from UVA! Outside of Echols, Naren is a volunteer firefighter at Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department, counselor for the University Judiciary Committee, and news staff writer for the Cavalier Daily. In his free time, Naren enjoys being outdoors, reading, writing, and playing the guitar.
