Echols Council and the Echols Ambassadors would like to congratulate you on your acceptance into the University of Virginia's honors program and welcome you to the Echols Scholar Community! We are here to provide you with information about the Echols Scholars Program and answer any questions you might have throughout your decision-making process.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you might have about the Echols program or life at the University of Virginia in general. If you are visiting Grounds and would like grab coffee or lunch (on us!) or would like to Skype with a current Echols Scholar, let us know and your assigned Ambassador will be happy to find you the perfect match!
If you are interested in becoming a student at the University of Virginia, be sure to schedule a visit during one of our Days on the Lawn and attend the Echols lunch buddies, dorm tour, student panel, and garden party to hear more about the program. The Echols Ambassadors will be coordinating each event and volunteering alongside other scholars to provide each of you with a wide array of voices to hear from and connect with.
The dates for the 2017 Days on the Lawn are March 20, 27, April 3, 10, 14, and 17. In addition to the Welcome Address and the College of Arts and Sciences Total Advising and Faculty Panel in the morning, accepted Echols Scholars are invited to attend the following events hosted by the Deans of the Echols program and current Echols students and ambassadors:
